"Original art education was in Astrakhan, in studio of P.A. Vlasov. He studied at the Moscow school of painting, sculpturing and architecture with K. A. Korovin, and S.V. Malyutin (1914-1917). In 1918-1921 worked in Black Yar and Stavropol. Member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia (since 1922). He participated in exhibitions since 1917. Member of the Union of Artists. Received letters from his wife's relative from France - probably one of the reasons for arrest. Arrested on June 17, 1938. Incriminated the creation and management of counter-revolutionary terrorist organization, which included artists G.D. Lavrov and A.V. Grigoriev. Sentenced to be shot by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on March 2, 1939. The sentence was carried out on March 3, 1939. Was buried in the " Kommunarka ". "
